Blogger is a blog publishing platform provided by Google. It allows anyone to create a website easily without requiring programming knowledge. With just a few clicks, you can start writing and publishing blog posts to the web.

Blogger provides with a free blogspot.com domain, but we can settings our custom domain to our blog website, it will look more professional and easy to remember.

Step how to configure custom domain to blogger

1. Purchase a domain

Firstly you must buy custom domain wheres can manage the domain, you can bought from provider such as Dynadot , Namecheap, godady or your local provider. Make sure your provider have access to your domain’s DNS settings.

2. Open your blogger settings

Login to your blogger account > click menu settings > scroll down find the custom domain section

3. Settings custom domain

Write your custom domain with subdomain www, blog, or other ex : www.your_domain.com you will look like below, dont close the pop up.

4. Configure DNS settings

Go to your domain provider > domain settings > manage domain > find option dns settings/ dns management.

Ex dynadot :

after you find dns management, add record with record type A and fill ip address/destination 216.239.32.21 , 216.239.34.21 , 216.239.36.21 , 216.239.38.21 . After that add record again with data step no 3 with record type CNAME host see image below.

5. Saving custom domain

After you settings the DNS, go back to blogger page and click save wheres pop up step no 3. And if youare got problem `could not update settings` you need waiting for a few second in my case is 5-10 minutes, after that enable the redirect domain, https availibity, and https redirect.
